2004 Jewell Liquor Car Show

   The third annual Jewell Liquor Car Show and Shine that was held on July 11^th was a resounding success. There were scores of cars that represented virtually every auto manufacturer and era. Awards were given in a variety of classes. Food and beverages were readily available. There were many cool door prizes that were handed out. And there was even a visit by the Coors Lite Silver Bullet girls. A good time was had by all. If you missed this event be sure to catch the one next year.

   The show and shine was held in front of Jewell Liquors in the Safeway parking lot. There were over sixty cars that registered and many more that just showed up and parked. Many of the Corvette Connection race team cars were also present.
   A total of 19 trophies were handed out based on the voting of the spectators and merchants. 4 trophies each were given out for "Best Paint", "Street Machine", "Clean Machine" and "Best Street Engine". The remaining three trophies were for the catagories of "People's Choice", "Merchants Choice" and "Best of Show". Click Here to see the pictures of the trophies being awarded.
   Coors Lite, one of the event sponsors, brought some of the Silver Bullet girls for the day. These charming young ladies had a very busy day. They posed posed for pictures with the participants by their cars, promoted Coors Light in the store and handed out the door prizes and awards.
