Once again Corvette Connection was a major force in the Jet Car Nationals. We sponsored the Corvette
Connection Shootout which was won by Joan Breher. Joan has been finishing strong in several of the most recent events.

There were a variety of special events to entertain the spectators. The night was highlighted by the jet
powered cars that shateered the silence, lit up the sky and screamed down the track. There was also a wheel stander that
ran the length of the track on two wheels. One race even featured snowmobiles which ran in the 10's and 11's. They could
compete with the cars.
The Corvette Connection Shootout featured sixteen Corvettes. We had the opportunity to show off our work
in front of a capsity crowd. Nothing matches the excitement of racing in front of tens of thousands of people.
If you were unable to attend this event you missed quite a show. Be sure to make plans to attend (and
